State Representative Lynda Schlegel Culver Nominated as the Republican Nominee for 27th State Senate District Special Election

Harrisburg, PA – On Sunday, Republican State Representative Lynda Schlegel Culver was nominated, with nearly unanimous support, to be the Republican nominee in the upcoming special election in the 27^th State Senate election to be held on Jan. 31^st.

The 27^th State Senate seat comprises of Columbia, Montour, Northumberland, and Snyder counties along with a portion of Luzerne County. Currently, State Representative Lynda Schlegel Culver represents the 108^th State House District, which includes parts of Northumberland County and all of Montour County.

The Pennsylvania Senate Republican Campaign Committee (SRCC) works to elect Republican State Senate candidates across the Commonwealth. The SRCC is coming off a successful 2022 campaign cycle where the committee helped defend the Republican Party’s State Senate majority.
